Ötzi, known as the mummy of Similaun, is an anthropological find found on 19 September 1991 in Trentino Alto Adige, near the border with Austria, at the foot of the Similaun glacier.

Ötzi is perceived as a time traveller.
Found intact thanks to the preservation that had in the ice, shows on the bodies 61 of those that for us today are tattoos.
The signs that it possesses are simple points, lines and crosses.
Given the position they are assumed to have a curative or religious function (in fact, they could be pressure points for acupuncture).
